- 01Melissa and Vanessa Sgambelluri are twin sisters from the GTA with a shared passion for teaching and all things STEM! Both completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, where Melissa earned an Honours Bachelor of Science with a major in Health & Disease and double minors in Immunology and Physiology, while Vanessa completed a major in Health & Disease and Psychology. Having navigated challenging courses themselves, they understand the struggles students face and are committed to making complex concepts in math and science clear, engaging, and approachable. As Head Tutors at Twin Tutoring ©, they focus on building students’ confidence, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping each student achieve their academic goals.
- 02Both Melissa and Vanessa Sgambelluri exhibit 5+ years of tutoring experience. They began their tutoring journey in just Grade 11 as peer tutors for their classmates. Then, in their first year of university, they were fortunate enough to land positions at McMaster University's nonprofit tutoring organization, Homework Help for Charity (HHC). Here, they tutored K-12 students in various STEM-related subjects. To this day, they are Experienced Tutors on the online tutoring platform, SuperProf, and since December 2021, TwinTutoring ©.

- 04Pricing varies according to age: ✅ First lesson free!* ✅ $30/hour for students in Kindergarten - Grade 8 (rate applies starting the second session) ✅ $40/hour for students in Grades 9-12 (rate applies starting the second session) *Get a feel for the tutoring services provided by Twin Tutoring © with our 'First Lesson Free' promotion. Whether you want to continue tutoring sessions after the first lesson will be completely up to you!
- 05✅ AT LEAST 24 hours in advance: NO fee will apply. Your tutor will reach out to you so you can work to reschedule the lesson at a time that's convenient for you. ✅ LESS THAN 24 hours in advance: Your tutor will reach out to you to reschedule the lesson, BUT because of late notice, a 25% cancellation fee WILL apply. This means the student will be required to pay 25% the price of the intended lesson on the same day it was cancelled, in which a copy of the powerpoint will be sent to them to review on their own. Once the rescheduled lesson takes place at a time that is convenient for the student, the normal fee will apply.
